Preparing Music Video Research

I am still considering the idea of doing an indie rock genre music video as well as considering the possibility of doing a song from the 80's/70's/60's/50's as i feel the possibilities of doing an older fashioned video would possibly be a struggle to complete.
I have been looking more at Arctic Monkeys recently as they are the outright leaders of current time of Indie Rock music and are leading the way as this kind of band.
I am going to be looking at another music video by Arctic Monkeys to see how it is constructed and if it would be possible to complete in the surroundings i have available to myself. I will probably be looking through the song 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?' or 'Do I Wanna Know?' as i feel these songs are fairly recent and are of the right tempo for me to complete a music video for.
With the older style music video i am yet to decide on the song to put over my music video i would create as i still am unsure on which song to use from that era. i was originally swaying towards three or four of the songs on my list which were, 'Come On Eileen', 'For The Longest Time', 'Stand By Me', and 'You Make My Dreams' as i thought these would fit my original story quite well but i can not decide as i may want to create a different type of story for my video.

My friends who i plan to have in my music video are quite big music fans and are into the music of Arctic Monkeys like myself and if i decided to use one of their songs in their genre they would be a massive help as they could help me create a suitable storyboard with locations and different things to happen in the video.
