Music Video Basics

 I have now planned in what places I could film my music video and how many people I need for it to play main parts

 Despite having chosen this though I am still confused on what would be the best choice of song to use.

 I have started to decide on how many actors I would like for the video before the song choice is made as I think it would help me be able to shape what type of video would be most suitable and most realistic to make as it shows me my options that are available and will help me to make my final decision.

 The people I plan to use for my video are my closest mates as they would be most reliable and understanding of my situation. Also these friends two of which are experienced in drama and two are also experienced with music and understand music quite well and I reckon would assist me greatly in understanding the songs and the nature of what would be suitable to make a music video about depending on the song choice and also what type of areas would be the best to film in to suit when the song was created and first sung.

Song/Video Choice Consideration

I have lately been looking through the playlists on my phone to decide on what song to use and what style of music is a good choice for my music video product. I have been attracted to the three ideas presented below in this post.

The first idea of choices I have been thinking about would be the fact I'd like to set up a story of a classic man and woman in love but the male is chasing after the woman and trying to win her heart. The idea would have been that this man would have spotted the girl when he was out with his friends and had wanted to find her as he didn't get the chance on the day he was out. He would have got a photo of the girl and text his friends to see if they had seen her around, these friends would then reply with a photo of the girl at another location and the man would go there to try and find her. He would constantly just miss her before catching her at the end and there would be some kind of happy ending. The song choices I have thought about picking for this story are...

 I am really attracted to the idea of using any of these songs for me music video as I feel they could fit the basic storyline well with a few tweaks here and there to suit the style of the song. Most of these songs above have an old fashioned feel to the music which is a choice I would love to take up as personally I love older classic music which was very popular when first released and has kept up its popularity through time and is still very popular within today's music choices. 

 My current idea would include creating a music video different to my original choices as originally I wanted to make a music video for the band Arctic Monkeys or One Direction which aren't similar bands at all but they were my original ideas although I hadn't thought of an actual music video to suit these songs.
